Resale clothing is priced by brand, size and condition, and every one of those is in the seller's title. That makes completed sales unusually readable.
Verified 12 October 2026, three year window, completed sales on the first page alone:
| Search | Completed sales |
|---|---|
PAIGE jeans 30 | 239 |
Lululemon Align pant 25 | 239 |
Levis 501 32x32 | 238 |
Size belongs in the search. The same jacket in a small and an extra large are different markets, and the seller wrote the size in the title because buyers search for it.

Resale apps show you what sellers are asking and what is listed. Neither tells you what moved. Completed eBay sales do, and in a category with this much supply the difference between asking and selling is the entire margin.
Designer handbags ran 17.5% above the real price on eBay's public sold page in our study, against 14.9% across all categories, because almost everything at that level is negotiated. We return the accepted amount. The study.
Minus words remove the bulk lots and the wrong condition: Levis 501 32x32 -lot -bundle -damaged -kids. And keep the search short, because each word is another thing the listing had to contain.
